PLACES TO VISIT

See General Information on: https://latorreinfo.com

WRISTBANDS

Within our property you will find 6 wristbands, with the Resort logo and our unique plot number. These must be worn around the pool areas and at all sports facilities. During the high season, security patrol these areas and will ask persons not wearing wristbands to leave. Please note that the Community currently charges owners for replacing each lost wristband.

RUBBISH DISPOSAL

Please use the large recycling bins around the Resort and DO NOT hang bags from the small bins on the streets. This attracts vermin and flies.

PARKING

The roads on La Torre are public, subject to a 40 kilometre an hour speed limit and normal parking regulations apply. Single yellow lines means no parking at any time. Please use the designated parking spaces or underground parking garages. If you park illegally, including on the ramp to the garages, you will either get a parking fine for up to 200€ or be towed away.

Please note that the road in front of the supermarket is a Tow Away Zone. Please use the car park at the rear.

THE GOLF COURSE

This is PRIVATELY OWNED and has nothing whatsoever to do with the Community.

Please note that walking, cycling or jogging along the buggy paths is strictly prohibited – and also extremely dangerous!

SECURITY

Make sure that you shut the patio doors and windows and double lock the main door when going out. If in an apartment, close and lock both doors to the stair and lift areas at ground floor.

FERAL CATS AT THE RESORT

Please note we have had reports of feral cats using patio furniture for nesting. If there are kittens present the female cats can be very aggressive to anyone approaching them. Therefore, please be careful when moving furniture if you have not been to the Resort for some time and ensure that children do not approach any of the cats at the Resort. Also, please do not feed the cats as this will just encourage more cats to come onto the Resort.
The Managing Committee has recently instigated a scheme to neuter all feral cats on the Resort in an attempt to cut down the population. It is illegal in Spain to cull such animals.
Remember when returning to your property late at night that consideration should be given to the many full-time residents living at La Torre.
